Jose Saramago

Jose Saramago (16 November 1922 – 18 June 2010) was a Portuguese novelist. Best-known works include The Gospel According to Jesus Christ, Blindness, Seeing and Cain. Honours include Nobel Prize in Literature, Camões Prize and America Award in Literature.
