Why we’re excited
In the kingdom of Veladon, dragons carry people off from the mountains, two silver-haired princes rule over griffins, mermaids, ogres and humans, and a healer faces a decision that could tip the realm one way or the other. A firefox shifter, cast out and still in love with her, is ready to set everything alight.
James Patterson teams up with Hazel McBride for a romantic fantasy, a genre Patterson rarely writes in. Readers who want dragons, shifters and a slow-burning love story with thriller pacing should take a look.
