Lock Every Door by Riley Sager contains all the horror and gothic tropes that I love in this type of story – ominous dreams, strange noises at night, cryptic notes, secret nooks and crannies, a combination of unfriendly and over friendly neighbours, mysterious and sudden disappearances, and that's just for starters. The creepy, picturesque setting of The Bartholomew was as glamorous and seductive as it was eerie and claustrophobic, and as you would expect has a cursed history, of suspicious deaths.

The greatness begins with a state of mind, with definiteness of purpose and with little or no hard work. We should have faith within ourselves, our ideas and work. Faith is basically a state of mind which may be induced or created by affirmation or repeated instructions to the subconscious mind through the principle of auto-suggestion.

The Sister by Louise Jensen is this author’s debut novel, and what a cracker it is! A dark psychological thriller, the twists and turns continue in a relentless fashion. I will admit to wanting to smack Grace a couple of times and yell at her because she couldn’t see what I could see! 

Fahrenheit 451 is a dystopian novel by the American writer Ray Bradbury. It was published in 1953 and was considered as one of Bradbury’s best works. It is divided into three major parts: Part1: The Hearth and the Salamander, Part 2: The Sieve and the Sand and Part3: Burning Bright.The novel Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury depicts a futuristic society that suppresses free thought by means of outlawing books and burning them. Firemen are hired in order to set fire to any written material that crosses their path.

Faith and the Beloved by Kochery C Shibu opens with a murder of Tony D'Souza by nerdy girl Alice Cherokil. Alice's mother Naithy Cherokil, who lost her husband and marries again to Tony D'Souza, is a young successful businesswoman. Another interesting character is Prem Rolland who comes from a small village Kishanganj and His brother Arun Rolland was killed by police. The lives of these three characters, Alice, Naithy and Prem intersect and the web of love, lust, faith and betrayal begins.
