Book Review

Ofelia by Martyn Stanley | The Book of Davoth

One of the things I love about this book was the clarity with which it was written. There's nothing superfluous in Ofelia, nothing that shouldn't be there, and the flow, the pacing, is great. The author really puts you in the minds of the characters and in the settings and makes you fall in love or have a deep loathing for certain characters.

Tom Collins by Douglas Vigliotti

Douglas Vigliotti wrote a story with the perfect blend of humor, passion and drama. His writing just flowed and had me invested from the moment I began to read. There is a chance, when an author tells a story such as this, the male ends up being a bit of a doormat in part because of the situation he has found himself in.

Fire of the Blood by Jasmina Coric

Fire of the Blood by Jasmina Coric is a compelling, intriguing, sometimes quirky but deeply moral fantasy story. This is the kind of story that helps us believe that we could stand and be counted if called upon to do so.

I Am Only Human by Georgi Danov

Georgi Danov's I Am Only Human looks at the question psychologists have been asking for over a hundred years - why are we the way we are? It starts with us, humans, our mind and behaviour, broadening out to look at our relationships with society.

A Story of Karma by Michael Schauch

In his memoir 'A Story of Karma', Michael Schauch reflects upon the personal experiences he faced during his journey to Himalaya.
